I came to know from a person of another forum who was unable to land before coor expiry due to some family reasons last year.He raised a web form.He got the reply after 2 months which said that his copr was cancelled and he shud wait for further instructions. After another one month he got the mail to submit his passport and he was reissued copr.He did not have to give remedicals .
Isn't it a positive sign.If ircc can consider some one's serious personal problem for extension ,though its rare ,so why shouldn't they consider ours given that its a global pandemic which has affected each and every person on the globe including them selves.The only question is medical!!

Exactly!! They keep talking about people travelling and coming in or out but what about the inland applicants inside Canada. We're already inside and ready to complete our landing. I spoke to CBSA yesterday at Pearson and they are processing landing applicants at Pearson. It's unfair that they're taking the risk to process applicants coming from outside while we inside Canada are ready for landing, but they aren't doing anything!

What can we do here? I am really worried to be honest.
Why don't u call ircc canada?They are really helpful.They will give u proper info.Though call volumes is high so u need to wait for long.Yesterday after waiting for half an hour I could connect to an agent but call got disconnected.

but calls to ircc was not available until recently, when they restored it?

Extension is 100% going to happen.
Every email from them says "wait for further instructions." No one will hear back until lockdowns are lifted and flights are operational for people to travel again. We just need to wait.

Asking people in every country to do re-medical especially when hospitals are strained for resources is a very bad idea and not something they will do. A medical test checks for severe medical problems to make sure you won't eb a burden to public health. The current pandemic is not one of those things as of now.

Hello everyone, if we have to raise a webform for CoPR extension, what option from the drop down menu we have to select? Permanent Resident Card or any other? Kindly help.

Select Permanent Residence either online or by mail. Online : If you had applied online for PR. By mail: if your application was paper based and you had sent them application and documents by post

Can you please share the number you used to call? The IRCC toll free number I called them almost every day last week and their call center isn’t functioning. are you sure it was IRCC agent you connected with? Please please share the number you’re calling to see if it’s different than mine

Last week it was not working.Means agents were not available.But yesterday they were.U listen to the automated machine patiently.U need to press 8 when she asks and then she will give option to speak to an agent press 0 .After pressing 0 u will be told approx waiting time.Some times after pressing 0 they say we are not able to transver ur call to an agent.So u need to try again and again.

Guys war like conditions are developing between America and China.I just hope it doesn't happen.If there is a war all things will come to a stand still.Other distructions are inevitable too.I just hope all goes well and we are able to land in Canada.Needless to say a war would bring more destruction than corona....

Yes yesterday after trying twice I was able to talk to an agent .I asked him abt my case .He took my uci no unfortunatly before he could say anything there was sime disturbance and he was not able to hear my voice.Kind fellow waited for 2 min .I could hear his hello hello but he could not.So I hung up.I again called again waited for 40 min then a lady says hi but again she was not able to hear me So phone got disconnected.
NowvI call from India by text now app.You are calling from Canada so u will not have network issue.keep trying.
