Edmonton Fastest Citizenship Processing Time for me...start to finish 18 months !! Hope Edmonton Office will keep pace for all the applicants.

It's an individual application, my wife is still waiting to hear for the test date...she had applied 4 months before me.

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on January 9, 2013.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on January 9, 2013. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on March 8, 2013.

We sent you a notice on March 14, 2014 to appear and write the citizenship test on April 10, 2014 at 1:00 PM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

does any one know that is this 15 months(from "start processing your application" to "oath") processing time general to Edmonton office?

That was quick completing the process in 15 months! Was your application straight forward (meaning minimal travel in the 4 years period, working full-time with no period of un-employment etc.)?

The typical is 24 months to test in Edmonton. There are very few people who got test invite in less than 2 years (Jaz1234 & msc1971) are part of the exceptions.

Do you know when your file was transferred to Edmonton (the only way to know that by calling CIC)?
