Still no guarantee that IRCC officers will go to work because even vaccinated ppl can get Coronavirus. Its a new norm nowadays , cant or dont wanna do anything just say the reason "Covid 19"

The problem after the vaccination isn't getting the virus but not being sick and ending up at the hospital and eventually dying from it. You can still get it after you are vaccinated but you won't be as sick as you weren't vaccinated. If all the people in the office are vaccinated and all the people visited the office are vaccinated too then no one is putting nobody's life in danger in theory.

If that is the case then why the Government has not resumed in person Oath ceremonies ? How difficult it is to mandate that all applicants coming to oath ceremonies must have proof of vaccination .
Sorry I can't answer why. I am not sure if someone here can explain why. But someone reported in a different thread that an applicant received a call from IRCC for in person oath in Toronto just for 15 people, he/she needs to bring a proof of vaccination. Who knows, maybe they are realizing that they can't hide behind covid forever.
well mass firings is better than no firing and giving free money to people who do not like to work. Maybe they will start hiring people who are ready to work.For everyone who thinks that mandatory vaccination is "da bomb" and going to make IRCC function better: you do realize this is going to cause mass firings and wrongful dismissal law suits? This is going to clog up and slow down the process even further. Files shuffled all around the office as one investigator after another is dismissed or reassigned.
Courts will be swamped hearing wrongful dismissal lawsuits, not our mandamus.

They are just following other countries like US. So i doubt it will be a problem. How long they can cheat the govt by avoiding work.
