Yeah, basically it has been a lit bit more than a month, I am still a bit skeptical about this, although I sent my passports as required.
Also, I almost didn't follow and checked my status, like those IP1, IP2, no idea how to determine it.
As I understand, after I receive my passport with stamp I just need to cross the border and get it validated
Okay Perfect! Good luck.

Congratulations Bro.

Will you please update us a little?
You had any dependent? Nationality? NOC?
Did you update RCMP fingerprint doc in advance ?
Cause your PPR was the fastest i've seen in this group.
May be he uploaded all documents in advance which has fastened the process.

Thanks, and sure
I have one dependent (spouse), nationality is from former USSR, NOC B
I did not send any biometrics at all, was never requested either.
I did prepare all the documents in advance, all Police Certificates, paystubs for the whole year, the company I am working for is really big, so I guess there was no need to check it really precisely.
I'll give an update as soon as I receive everything back, for now, Canada Post delays it constantly

AOR - 19th Oct

Still not had a single email or update on my account. I have my wife as a spouse on the application.

We both did our medicals on Sept 10th so not sure if that's holding it up since that can take up to 3 months based CIC website for PR?

MEP - 19th November
IP1 - 19th November
IP2 - 19th November

I noticed today I passed medical and the BG check has been updated to 'We are processing your background check....' so I believe I am at IP2 now.

Based on that, when could I be looking at getting approved? I'm currently in the process of applying for a BOWP since my current work permit expires Feb 2nd but I think maybe I may not need to?

Definitely apply for the BOWP. I've been in IP2 since mid-September. It can take some time, so best not to risk it

Did you ask the medical clinic if they've submitted your medical to CIC yet?
