Is CIC calling your former employer automatic, or they only do that when they have a doubt, if the reference letter isn't clear or anything...?

I am working with only one employer since I arrived in Canada (Almost 5 n half years). I don't know what kind of doubt they had?

I went to Dr. Inna Roitberg back in May 2015.
Mostly because she was able to make appointment for the next day.

I can not say anything negative, went smooth and fast. Blood test and x-rays are in the same building.

They mentioned in the email that-

"You must send the fingerprints and a copy of this notice directly to the RCMP National Headquarters in Ottawa within 30 days from the date of this notice.

Do not submit fingerprints to our office that have not been processed by the RCMP as this will cause a delay in the processing of your application.

The RCMP will send the results directly to the Case Processing Centre – Ottawa (CPC-O) within the processing time published on the RCMP’s website."

Did you just go to the Police station to get the RCMP done? Will they send the everything to Headquarter by themselves ??

I went to an accredited agency for fingerprints , there are many , they send the fingerprints to RCMP, RCMP validates against their database and then sends the results to CIC.

Get the address and phone # of any one of accredited agencies here : http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/en/who-can-conduct-criminal-record-check
You have to take along 2 pieces of ID and the email printout of the RCMP request sent to you by CIC.

Thank you so much for your reply.

I went to RCMP branch yesterday and done with the finger-prints. RCMP, however, will send the results to me. Then, I will have to send the results and copy of their email to CIC via mail. RCMP will take somewhere from 1 week to 2 weeks to send the results to me.

you should have asked them to send it directly. they are extremely fast...

I am not sure why you asked them to send it to you..
