CEC - August 2014 application

I apologize in advance for being mean! But in my turn can't stop complaining about the misuse of this forum and how sometimes msgs send to seek important information are missed due to the spamming of the forum by useless crying out loud messages..

The moaning its endless in this group.

People just dont get that no one gives a sh*t! Our applications will be processed whenever they get processed. The yearly cap is 8000. By now probably they already processed more than the half. But lets say 4000 application remain to be completed still. How significant each of u feel, or if u group up with few others u might reach the hundreds groups ,or even if the whole 4000 ppl feel in the whole population and the total stuff govements have to deal with? Its a little funny but more sad that you feel that going to protest send letters, call, email and especially crying out in this group that is meant to be used for sharing information would actually make the goverment care and put u to priority one!

Oh and the most ridiculous part are the pathetic people of the group accusing and even insulting others for being fake because they shared their recent MR request and demanding that they post their MR. Really? Just sad!

I agree wholeheartedly, I can't believe the level of immaturity and the idiocy shown by these "adults" in majority of the posts. I lol so hard especially when people are accusing CIC of being manipulative and "lying" to them.

I'm pretty sure even after getting their PR's these cry babies won't go far in life, attitude defines everything.

I am one of those individuals who has contacted journalists and who has suggested people keep contacting Mps and call centre. According to you I am pathetic and I wont go far in this life. Unfortunately for you I an actually doing really well in life and I will continue to do so. However, I am unlike you I dont let people walk all over me, I am guessing that is how your life is. I like standing up for myself and other people.

Its funny when I contacted the Toronto Star Journalist who writes on Immigration he thought it was absolutely shocking how long we are waiting based on how EE was been processed. He told me he has been waiting to do this story for some time and the reason he couldnt do it was because no one was brave enough to put their name and picture on record in the false belief someone from CIC would treat them badly. I know realise it was people like you who he was talking about. People like you who are afraid of their shadow who prefer to be walked over than talk up.

So maybe before you put something ridiculous like that again ...have a hard look at yourself first

I appreciated all the efforts everyone is doing .

All the Human's evolution is rooted from not satisfied and doing something.

But first , you need speak out .

You can choose be silent sheep , but there is no silent lion .

And I don't think we are blaming CIC purely, we actually helping Canada, the CIC department's low efficiency actually survived with taxer's money .

Somebody should know the problem. if you keep silent, you just agree with these low efficiency and help them.

I am definitely blaming CIC of delaying the CEC applications. Obviously they are making their own Great policy a joke. If they are not capable to deal with so many applications, they shouldn't have accepted these from the beginning. So people like me might have chosen other countries or other directions to immigrate. Many of us are suffering from this delay seriously, while someone there is just watching with lol. No matter what your purposes are, it doesn't sounds right with such comments.

So I called CIC this morning. The guy was nice and he seemed to be prepared on the topic. He said that they have definitely shifted the average waiting time to 18 months, although it doesn't reflect on the website, and he specified "from the date we received the application." I double checked with that and he said all the average waiting times are from when the application was received. He told me to mark my calendar and if by the time 18 months are gone I haven't received any news from CIC then I should call back and they will send a note to the officer handling my case, or something like that. My application was received on Aug 26 2014 so I will call back at the end of February.

Let's check this with imagination , application returned date for 2014 is about oct 22 applied .

and your lawyer said , all application received date after oct 23 have no MR .


I just doubt , because CIC's slow response, the CEC quota maybe fulled in Aug of 2014 , but they aware it until Dec.

in order to cover the fact, they are too slow , they choose a middle date, oct 22 applied after it, returned.

they announce EE before 2015, it means EE's quota should be planed with old CEC in 2014 .

so these huge delay for old CEC maybe just quota full, so everything need wait 2016 .
