Today, I called CIC for the first time.

I guess call centre agents don't know anything about when and what will happen next.

Very disappointed..

she mentioned, "It is possible to be done by next year June, but I cannot guarantee."

what the what... is she talking...?

they have no idea what they are talkin about.. you can get a better idea by following this forum.. the june applicants have seen some progress so its safe to say that they have resumed working on our applicatiions.. we should hear something soon .

They are not allowed to give any month or date. so they cant say june.

@teb: So I tried to call them yesterday but the line was constantly busy. However, I just received an answer by email stating that the updated form has been received. Apparently the auto-reply system is not working properly at the moment. It's all good!

Received my GCMS Notes. The latest update is for my medicals received on 15th October (that's when my third line got added to application). Other than that, Criminality is still in progress with due date as next month. I hope everything gets completed before they leave for a long weekend.

1. Are the background and security checks completed?
2. Did you do the medical upfront?

For your question #1 - No and # 2 - Yes.

Simply none started.. Except they received my upfront medical details.

It seems like Eligibility and background checks are not dependant to give medical.

The major thing is, CIC should start the process by now..
