Hi Nishesh,

Usually when the payment is charged it means to say that documents are proper and we are through with evaluation right ?

But when I was going the 2014 spreadsheet I saw few comments saying after fees enchashed application was returned and no refund mentioned in the email.

So wanted know there procedure at what stage they will charge the payment and after what other documents evaluation will they send the positive report. Before charging they will complete the full evaluation of application is it ? ?

Depends on what your definition of 'evaluation' is under the circumstances.

Your payment is charged only after you pass the completeness check. This involves assessing whether all required documents have been submitted and are valid.

There is a little grey area as to whether the completeness check also involves calculating the applicant's score of 67 points or whether this is purely done between the applicant is charged and the PER is issued.

The fact that applicants have received their package back after their payment was charged suggests that points calculation may be done solely during PER. But the fact that majority of the applicants whose payments are charged do receive their PER also indicates that point calculation could be a part of the process of the completeness check itself.

I would go with the latter since that indicates the majority of the cases so far.

Yes you are right based on the data of spreadsheet it looks like majority have got PER letter once the fees is enchashed.

I m gonna apply under 2281 in 3-4 days ,,,do you think there is any chance for me ?
as I just changed my carrier to 2172 ( since 6 months back ,,,and I have another 14 months part time ( 24hrs/week ) from 6 years ago...If u think there is not enough chance to apply under 2281 ...i go for 2172 ?

these are my work experience ...still i doubt under which NOC should I apply ?

2006.07 -2007.09 ....2172 part time ( no insurance) (coz I was student also) ....14 months 24hrs/week
20017.10-2011.11 .....2182 full time (with insurance benefits) ...........................4 years
2012.03-2014.03 ...... 2182 full time (with insurance benefits) ..................................2 years
2014.03- present ........2172 full time (with insurance benefits) ...................................6.5 months

2172 cap=73

Guide me with your replies ...If i choose 2281 ...I have to say I wanna continue 2172 as its the recent job or what ?
if I choose 2172 ...is my work experiences enough to apply under this NOC?

I am confused. You are jumping wagons here. In the Work Experience, you illustrate about 2282 and 2172. However, you want to apply for 2281. I cannot provide feedback on 2172, as I am not very sure about your experience mix in 2172. May be seniors would be able to help you with that. Furthermore, please address the same question about Work Experience regarding 2172, in the relevant forum. As far as 2281 is considered and the information you have provided, I do not think, you are eligible for 2281.

You get points for 6 years - assuming you are able to provide Letters of Reference for each Job and/or supporting documents depending on your case.

- I do not know why have you listed 'insurance' above and what relevance that has in regards to the query.
- I am not sure if experience while undergoing education is counted, but I guess that could give you a 'part-time' leverage towards experience.
- Assuming your exp. in 2172 is counted, it would be best to list 2172 as your intended NOC and claim points for 2281/2282 on the side.
- Your "Intended Occupation" must be from one of the experiences in the past and/or present so it must be either 2172 or 2281 (I am assuming 2182 was a typo?)
