Hello good day to you all. My husband immigrated back in 2010 from Jamaica. My sister-inlaw and her 2 children would like to come to Canada. She owns her home in Jamaica has a decent job and also holds a visitor visa for the US. Is there anyway we can sponsor her and her kids? Any input would be great thank you. :)

You can't sponsor them through family class.

What province do you live in? PNP could be an option depending on the answer.

Provincial Nomination Program. ON doesn't have one, unfortunately.

Yes - as CharlieD10 explained, unfortunately you're out of luck and can't sponsor them.

Your husband's sister will have to qualify to immigrate independently.

How does she do this? What steps should she take and would it be good for us to write a letter to go with her papers once she completes them. And would holding the US visitor visa help her? She is ready to leave right now..I don't think pppl understand its a process and sometimes a long road to travel.

No - holding a US visitor visa will not help her.

She will need to qualify through one of the programs listed below (Federal Skilled Worker, Quebec Skilled Worker or one of the Provincial Nominee Programs):

Depending on which programs she selects, she may get extra points for having a brother in Canada.
