Calling CIC center with expired PR card... is it a good idea?

Just a quick quesiton:

Havent submitted my PR renewal application yet, and I just want to call cic to clarify something, but... I think they need my personal info, right?

and if they found out that I have a expired PR card? They aren't gonna report and even export me, are they?

If you meet the residency requirements of 730 days in Canada in the past 5 years, you have nothing to fear. There is no law that says you must renew your PR card before it expires.

What do you need clarifying - maybe it can be responded to in this forum saving you the concern you have.
