hi , i got my copr on June 4 2020 , after that on 1 July 2020 i left Canada to India , after that i returned back to Canada on December 3 , 2020 .
after that i live in Canada for 2 year and 6 month continuously . Due to my personal and family problem i left Canada on 1 June 2023 . my pr card expiry date was 25 September , 2025 . i return back to Canada on 3rd September 2025 . so basically i live around 950 days in Canada , 2 year and 3month continuously live outside Canada . so i meet residence obligation . i have my 2021 , 2022 ,2023 notice of assessment .

so basically still didn't apply for pr card renewal , information i gathered around , i find it that they calculate days from date i applied for pr card renewal ? if that's true , i am thinking of applying by next month , so that these two month as i am here also would be calculated in my total days .

my main question , i have lived 2 year 3 month continuously outside Canada , is everything fine with my case , can somebody help me

thanks for replying , i just want to confirm that days are calculated from date i apply for pr card renewal , we have to provide 2 documents to proof that we live in Canada , one will be by NOA , what will be other documents ? if bank statements ? i have to provide all my bank statements ? how to use bank statements ?

also , when i am applying for renewal , do i have to give solid reason , why i was outside Canada for so long (almost 2 year and 3 month continuously) , or it will be fine as long as i met RO.
if you have read my case history as provided , i just want to confirm that everything is fine with my case ?

also i am waiting to apply for pr card , as i am here days will be counted , so my total days will be around 1000 days inside Canada if apply around 1 November , can you give me some guidance ?

I would submit: one bank statement for one bank account (say dated 30th July 2025) and NOA 2023. Most often, my reasons for outside Canada was "vacation". Nevertheless it would be fine as long as RO is met.
