Scenario
What happens if my new PR card is issued while I am still overseas and in possession of my current valid PR card?
Does the issuance of the new PR card automatically invalidate the current one? If so, at what point does the current card become invalid — for example, when I receive the approval notification email, when the new physical card is mailed out, when it is delivered, or at some other point?
Cheers
- My current PR card is valid until early next year.
- I plan to apply for a PR card renewal soon.
- I also plan to travel overseas using my current valid PR card.
