Is your previous police certificate more than a year old? I think mine will finish year in January..why don't they just send PPR

OMG, I don't know what's going with NYVO. They know the 90 days just passed for my application, so they sent me another request to make my life crazier. They want the Police certificate from my home country... Why didn't they ask for this document together with FBI request on Aug... It would take me few more months to get this thing done =)).

Hey smallduck, how old are your certificates?

The police certificate from my home country is about 10 month old now. I didn't expect NYVO is requesting this type of documents since transferring away from Buffalo. NYVO was supposed to deal with inside US matter only. you guys should be careful in case they ask for the similar document, with my country's bureaucracy situation, it's gonna take forever...especially if I'm away in another country.

hi, guys, I asked my Agent to send an email to Buffalo office to check my Status, and the following is the reply:

Your application is in process. We are unable to provide a date when the processing of your application will be complete.

But I check my E-cas status is still "received by visa office", are there any one has the same situation? Does it mean My application now is "In Process" and I am waiting for the Medical now?

My e-case status has shown "RCVO", Buffalo, since April 27,10. So, I guess it should be the same situation as you.

It's almost December and I don't think many applications will be processed. I put a little hope in "processing in Dec". It's better to anticipate our applications will be processed early next year.

Buffalo took 3 weeks to issue the Visa since they received your PP, right?

No. I went in person after getting the ppr last week. They took approximate 2-3 hrs.
