Update from my side. The online status now has the line "Medical results have been received". It was updated today as it was not there yesterday.

Its reallllllllllllyyyyyyyy frustrating.

I have submitted my full documents on april 1st 2010

Got my 2nd AOR on May 5th 2010.

But after that there is no change in my status.

It is more than 6 months and still says same "Received by Visa Office".

any suggestion?
shd I send them a case specific inquiry?

My timeline:

We received your application for permanent residence on January 11, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 1, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the Buffalo office. They are pending review.

We transferred your application to the Buffalo office on March 10, 2010. The Buffalo office may contact you.

I have similar timeline and still waiting for medical request.... you are eligible to make case specific inquiry (CSI) but a friendly suggestion don't have high hopes with (CSI), you might get routine reply.

My file was transfered on 22/12/2009, still nothing, expect dates I have same lines on my ecas. I think we should be patient, Buffalo is the slowest visa office across globe 17 months from the day they receive your docs. So, I am thinking some think mid of next year (not good).

2) You'll be receiving Med Req in the next few weeks (I mean your wife) and they will send you forms for each family member (your wife, your kids and you).
1) Your situation has happened recently with several member in which primary applicant and spouse are not in the same country. Your wife and your kids have to get the exam in US, and you have to get your form (somehow) and get the Med Exam in Singapore (find DMP accepted in the area). Then you'll have that DMP send Med Result DIRECTLY to the Ottawa (not the local VISA office - DMP might be confused with the situation).
Or the easier solution for you is that to take 2-3 days off and flight back here to US reunite with your family and get the Med Exam together ;).
My 2 cents,

Thanks Little Duck. This is actually what we are planning to do as it is not possible for me to fly back to US at the movement. appreciate you help. This forum has been a great help!

OMG, I don't know what's going with NYVO. They know the 90 days just passed for my application, so they sent me another request to make my life crazier. They want the Police certificate from my home country... Why didn't they ask for this document together with FBI request on Aug... It would take me few more months to get this thing done =)).
