Thanks arowberry for your quick response.

Yes, I attached an explanation letter about the situation. So we dont have any way to get the confirmation? Not even requesting them through email?

You probably can email the CIC, but I would guess that they could only tell you the same as a telephone agent. It would probably take them quite a long time to respond as well.

If it helps to reassure you, I applied for my BOWP without an AOR. I didn't contact them to update them with the AOR (once I had it) and it didn't cause any problems.

Ok , thnx Fr letting me know. I hv applied since Nov (paper) , still waiting response.

Did you try contacting them to check the status? If yes, what are they telling you? They are testing our patience now and the worst part is that you don't have any way to reach out to them to shake them up >:(

If someone finds out more information regarding the travel itinerary request from the call centre, please can you update the thread? thanks.

Guys,

Need an advise.
Do I have to sign in all the IMM application forms while submitting it online or I can just upload it(without signing)

Thanks

You can upload it without signing. Once you upload the forms, the system will ask for a digital signature. Its just a page where in you have to confirm that you are providing correct information. Hope this helps.

Hello Ganges,

In the forms, if you find a space (for signature) where you can type, then just type your name (that you use as your signature). Elsewhere (not allowed to type), you need to print out, sign, scan and upload.

Don't worry, it happend many times ppl received emails about BOWP app update but found nothing after login to account. It seems that CIC have some kind of system which automatically sends "update emails" each time they are touching the application.

dears
i just applied for my BOWP paper application and the processing time is about 86 days, so after 6th march 2015 i will be on implied status.

two questions please
has anybody with IEC (WHV) stayed in canada on implied status and then received his BOWP? (I have also a job, can i continue doing that ?)

has anybody left canada while BOWP processing and then received it ? (i am from a visa exempt country so i can come to canada anytime)

thanks

(i am from a visa exempt country so i can come to canada anytime) Though it not advised to leave while waiting for BOWP, as BOWP is only when you are in Canada. But I know many in this forum, left and then got it delivered in Canada while they were away. All the best. CIC call center may help you with the best answer
thanks

I stayed working on 'implied status' after my IEC visa expired and whilst I was waiting for my BOWP. I worked for about a month on implied status, before going home to my brothers weddings. When me up and see that my BOWP had been approved, allowing me back into the country. The actual visa was waiting for me at home.

I applied for BOWP online 5 weeks ago and i paid online. So far i have not received any update about my application.

I just found out that there is a receipt in the "My CIC" account which i was supposed to print, fill my name in and mail/scan to Immigration.

I never did that - what do i do now? Does anyone know if that step was mandatory because the instructions never said anything about it.

Advise is greatly appreciated!

That is only for mailed applications, don't worry.

It's currently taking on average 43 days to process an online application, so don't stress. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/temp.asp

Alright sounds good - i was just worried about the whole receipt thing. I don't mind the wait really.

I'm applying for BOWP from PGWP. Not sure what i should check here on form IMM0008.

I'm applying for one or more of the following:
1. A WP with the same employer
2. Initial WP or new WP with new emloyer
3.Restore status as worker
4.Temporary Residence Permit

Thanks!
