I have a question. I applied for my BOWP on February 19th after receiving my AOR. And today, I received an email from Immigration Canada stating that my application just got an update. However, when I go to MyCIC, I don't have any unread message or anything...
I'm worried I am missing something here?

Kkrr, that's why I was a worried... I don't expect anything before the next few weeks, so an update regarding my application was a bit stressful! Especially since my current visa is about to expire in a few days... (Yup, as I had a visa renewal denied about 2 years ago, I'm really not relaxed regarding the bowp, we never know!)

But I guess they maybe just opened my file to check it, and it sent me an automatic email. Now I'll just wait and see, but thanks a lot for you answer :)

Correct.

A fee of $100 will be collected, also starting February 21, 2015, from open work permit applicants.

Hi guys,
How much for the open work permit holder fee? I apply my bowp ang also help my spouse to apply too. When I finish my on eligible questions, there are 2*$155 =310 for the work permit fee, and1*$100=100 for the open work permit holder fee. Why there is just one open work permit holder fee for us, should I pay for two open work permit holder fees for my spouse and I? Or just one is fine?

Thank you very much

I had the same doubt 2 weeks before. I applied Bridge open work permit for my self and open work permit for my wife based on my issued bridge open work permit. Since there are 2 open work permit logically they shd ask to pay 2*$100=200 for the open work permit holder fees. But they asked for only 1 application. I have no clue i have submitted with what ever amount they were asking.. had to wait and see .. has any body faced the same situation ?
