Great !!! But Do we need to do paper based application or can we do online?

I have not explored if MyCIC will allow me to apply Open WP for my wife. And in my case, I would need to extend Visitors records for my son.

My work permit is also valid until Oct 2013 and I am thinking of applying BOWP in June.

I have the same question/situation. I am planing to apply BOWP for me and open WP for my wife. I was wondering, Does MYCIC allow me to apply open WP for my wife ?
or do I need to use paper application ?

Hey guys - anyone know anything about the travel itinerary request? It seems to be an online thing...

Why is applying for BOWP required to submit an itinerary?? Makes no sense..

You must provide a copy of your flight ticket or booking, if available, and/or the itinerary of your visit (proposed route of your journey.)

I would like to say it's a mistake because it's not included on the application checklist, nor in the application guide.

My advice would be to call the CIC to confirm.

Online application with AOR and same employer. No I didn't ask. Probably will ask the next time I call them. Since they already took an action for my case (by sending an e-mail to the processing center) on Feb 9, as per them they can't take any further action for the next 90 days and that takes me to May. That's why I am looking for some other channel to contact CIC.

You need to say that you do not have a written job offer in the questionnaire. I believe that question is aimed at people with an LMIA. You are applying for an open work permit and therefore your employment information is pretty irrelevant.

I am in Canada and have closed work permit and my wife is on a visitor permit. Also, we have applied for PR(under CEC category) and have received the application no.
But as my current closed WP is due for expiry in May 2015, I want to apply for BOWP now and look for other opportunities.
My question: What should I apply for my wife? A BOWP or a open work permit or a visitor permit?
