if I had the power and the whole immigration at the palm of my hands I would be sitting next to the case processing officer everyday and making sure I get my PR quick.. unfortunately nobody has control of the future ..
so while we wait for our PR we might as well make a few friends along the way ...

You're absolutely right. I'd probably be sitting on the other side of the CPO ;-) Or I'd be filling out my own things so they could just sign it. Done deal!

I have started a new thread on the same topic as I didn't know about this one and having said that I filed my PR on April 2 and my work permit is expiring on 20th may. According to recent trend I should receive my AOR by May 14th but I don't wanna wait around until the end moment. So should I send in a paper application with a cover letter regarding the missing AOR or should I wait until 14th to apply it online? Help will be really appreciated. Thanks.

It just takes few hours to submit the request online..So, if I were you, I will still take the risk of waiting for the AOR and then submitting for BOWP online...

Your application should be received by CIC before your current WP expires. I suggest, do not walk on the edge. Either way, why dont u submit an online application?

Your status automatically changes to "implied" once they receive your request for the BOWP while you still hold a valid work permit - correct? Or did I miss something and we need to actually officially change it to "implied status" somewhere?
