Hi !!!

This is Anjali on the verge of completing my masters in Electrical Engineering from UBC, BC. I have a doubt. After completing masters, work permit application processing is around 2.5 months. So can we apply for BC PNP before receiving the work permit in hand. As I believe being a Masters student we are automatically eligible to apply for work permit.

I submitted my documents to the bc pnp in June 2017, the status on the bc pnp page shows me application in process. until now i have not received any queries. I am actually confused what is it going on as i have not received any updates . Can anybody tell me what does that indicate pls?

I have applied on 27th May and on 13th July status changed to in process...till the time status is intact. But I have come to know that they have demand extra documents from employer twice. You should also check with your employer.

thank you for your reply. I spoke to my employer but he said that he has not received any calls or any email and thus i am feeling nervous for it and also it is showing the status in process only.
