Congrats! nothing will change in BC PNP site, at least it is true for EEBC Post grad. Which category did you apply? SI or EE? if EE then 600 point going to pop up in your EE profile. I am not sure about SI. I applied for EEBC. They called me to confirm then within 2-3 hours I got an confirmation email and in my EE account I got 600 points. One day later I got PNP certificate email.

Thanks! I applied for SI because I don't have work experience.

Hi all,

Can anyone clarify if you get 10 extra points on the BC PNP if your job is in the top 100 jobs list? I can only find two calculators, one is the Canada Visa one which does not give you these points, and one is the NV Immigration one and that one gives you 10 extra points. I registered and filled out the profile on the BC PNP Online but it did not give me a points total before requesting to submit, and I am not ready to submit yet. I would like to know how many points I have realistically before my employer makes the effort to advertise the job, if I don't have enough points then it might not be worth their while.

Thanks

after ITA from CIC you will need to do upfront medical. you will have 2 months submit all the documents to your CIC profile.

Applied EEBC-International Graduate and received nomination within same month. I may even get an ITA today. I wasn't expecting it so fast, little stressed about getting the all the documentation together.

Question: When do I do the medical? Will CIC profile tell me to do it after ITA?

after submitting you can cancel it anytime. So, AFAIK it is not a big deal to cancel after submission. I cancelled my SI profile and created EEBC profile.

The PNP email should have some instructions on what to do next.

Hi everyone, I just got an ITA for EEBC PNP - international graduate category. (86 points)

The job offer form my employer has to fill has "4. Recruitment summary" that requires him to note down the websites he advertised my position.
The PNP guide says my employer doesn't need to advertise if I have a PGWP, which I do. Any ideas on how to go about this please?

He can put the details there if there is active recruitment but I don't think he has to.

Fill it with something like "Name Surname has been working with us since ... on a valid work permit issued by CIC"

If I received an invitation today and my marital status is currently "single" but I'll be common-law in November/December. What should I do about it? Should I somehow explain myself when submitting all documents? Thanks

Hello everyone. newbie here. been reading about EEBC PNP. I have observed that most of those getting ITAs are based now in BC? Or am I wrong? To those not in Canada, grateful if you can share how you applied for a job? I am qualified but lack the job offer so I am trying to find an employer now. How was the experience finding one? Is WorkBC accepting applicants not based in Canada?

Looking forward to your replies and thanks! cheers to those who got their ITAs! ;D

Hi Yedaqiu,
Good luck on your process
I am also planning to applying for the International post gradaute Skills Immigration program within few days. Could you share how your process was here or in a message? So you only submitted your transcripts and the filled out the forms right? How did you show intent to stay in BC? Do you have a job? My problem is I have completed my degree but i dont have an official transcript from school yet? Do you know if they would accept a) degree completion letter and unoffocial transcript? Thanks for your time.

In case someone is interested. I applied for BC PNP on August 25th and was nominated yesterday. Processing time was around 50 days.

BC PNP in general is for the people who completed post graduate in BC or have a valid job offer in BC.
Depends on which field you are looking for job. normally companies prefer local candidates for interviewing. So, if you are not staying in BC then it would be hard for you get a interview call in BC.

Hi everyone, I am very new here, and here is my situation
I graduated in may 2014, and started to work as insurance agent (6231) from sep 2014 till sep 2016. I have 2 years of experience as insurance broker ( NOC B) so i applied for EEBC skilled worker and submitted my application on 13 Oct 2016 with total score of 106. The problem is I have been promoted as Insurance Manager(0121 NOC A) in sep 2016. I registered as insurance manager and received 15 points for it, all the employment letter, recommendation letter and job offer from my employer are based on my manager position. I dont have 2 years experiences as a manager but I think my insurance agent experience should be related. would that be a problem? I mean the minimum score for this draw was 80 so I would have been invited any way even without the manager title, can someone please answer? Thanks.
Also can someone please add me to whatsapp group. 7789904078

You are eligible to receive an ITA if you graduated within the last two years. You mentioned you graduated in May 2014. When did you apply for BCPNP? Was it on or before May 2016? What date is stated on your certificate of graduation?
