Wow! Looks like August Applications are on a roll! Looks like all applicants (myself included) before August 13th haven't received anything so far (might be an inverted yield affecting us haha). I'm not worried though, I just looked and there's about 20 people who sent their apps in July that haven't received anything yet too!!

I did have a quick question (well two) and some info would be greatly appreciated:

1. We're moving on November 1st to our new home, and we really did try to wait until sponsorship was finished, but couldn't wait. I know 100% we will have our AOR1, Medical, and Biometrics in by then, but I just wanted to ask for anyone else's experience of moving while an application is in? I'm sure there would be an address change option on ECAS, will this effect the timing for our apps at all? How much is really reliant on physical snail mail vs online?

Also, her family also might be moving, so how will this effect the application as that is her outland address?

2. This one is a much smaller feat, my wife has 5 siblings and on IMM 5406 - Additional Family Information it asks for her whole immediate family info, including addresses, place of birth, marital status, etc. I noticed that we actually put the same date of birth for two of them since their birthdays were 3 days apart. How much weight on the application would this be? They're only 14 and 11 years old, but I'm not sure how in-depth they will check the family of the principal applicants information?

Thanks so much in advance everybody! And best of luck!!

Nice! How did you check your application in ECAS? Did you already have an existing UCI?
They sent me a UCI & Application number when I got AOR so I used that to link my application :)

My wife moved after we gave our application. We haven't received our AOR1. How do I go about updating the address? Since I was the representative (wife is PA) we used my mailing address, so only her residential address needs to change? TIA

wait for AOR, once you have application number then you can call them to update the address

Yeah with the yield curve just hope the market doesn't crash, nor this market!! Probably not a lot of people got that joke. Aug is going fast for people whose app was received after mid month, but a 3 week period of apps, July 24 or so to mid Aug we have all been left out so far, very strange. And not just on this forum, my wife is on a FB group where only a few of them are on this site and it's the same story there. Wonder if any of the veterans on the site her have seen this before?

I am in the same boat, application received on July 24. Not sure what happened there. I checked the past month trackers and couldn't find this trend in previous month applications. Hope to get the AOR soon.

This is just a theory but perhaps they are opening all the applications, doing all the work on the back end and the backlog is actually with the uploads? which is why everything after the AOR is coming so rapidly.
