Hello Aug applicants,
I am new to this thread, but have read through all your posts. I am a little impatient now. Everyone with similar timeline please share your information/experience with me!

Received Aug 25
Email Confirmation received: Nov 5
Nothing else received up to now. NO ECAS!!! Do you think it is normal? Anyone in the same timeline has access to ECAS?

You may have to wait until January to see any updates on e-cas. Almost 40% of applicants from August (and onwards) received AOR through email like you not by print letter/e-cas. So far no one reported e-cas access open to them. This issue of less transparency has been taking heat under many threads regularly since they introduced it in August.

My application was received by CIC on August 28th, 2014... They have not processed mine during the date they started processing August 28th.... Just Tuesday of this week I called and they still haven't seen anything...So they agent asked me for my receipt# and Canada Post Tracking... they told me to call back in approximately 2 wks.. But i decided to call TODAY and was told that my application is now in process as of today and they doing background check.......

Therefore, I suggest that those of you who are having the same issues call and give them your receipt# and tracking post weather canada post/fedex etc and you should get the result I get.

Have you noticed that they were ate Sept 6 yesterday? today they now on October 21!

1) where in Canada did u apply from ?

2) Did you specify an personal email address in your CIT application ?

3) Did they say they are sending you an email acknowledgment with application no starting with letter C or are they sending you letter in the mail with Discover Canada ?

I applied from Windsor, the agent claim I will receive the package in a month.. He e.mailed me the link for the discovery Canada. Yes I noted my e.mail address in my application. So it took just 3 days for them to find my application which was received by them on August 28th.... So dont do no e.mail thing to them call and give them the receipt# and tracking # seems they will find your application way faster!

wait...so you DID give your email in the application but they are doing the old-fashioned thing of sending you the book in the mail.

Did they give you application no beginning with C ? clearly you are not / did not get email AOR ? !

Yes i provided my e.mail address on the application form. He didn't seems sure if I will get an AOR by e.mail or by e.mail since its today they uploaded my application so I will have to wait and see.

Folks called CIC again, spoke with Marc. He advised me that CIC is facing mail room delays. They are telling people to wait another 2 weeks before sending the applications again.

March, April, and May applicants are getting test and oath dates, with a few from June and July
I have a feeling that next in line is June, July, and august applicants ... applicants from this timeline will start getting invites between JAN -MARCH for routine cases. anyone who receives an invite before then will of course be an exception.

We did that on Nov 18th with an agent via case specif inquiry. I gave him my receipt number and tracking number. And still no news unfortunately. I will send an email via question@cic....as suggested in the forum.
not sure if it changes sth.
but since they processing yours now and mine was received on the same date. Hopefully I m going to hear sth by next week.

Do not do the case inquiry.... call them and give them the receipt and tracking # dont use the case inquiry...
