my mom is in the country for 5 months now. Her visa is valid till 2021. My question is can she leave the country and come back after a week to stay for another 5-6 months?

She has a job offer here. Still did not answer my question on whether she can stay until she gets a decision from CIC.

FYI, her TRV is valid till 2022. her 6 months stay will come to an end in Feb however.

She applied for an open work permit from inside Canada. She wouldn't mind leaving and coming back I was just making sure if she can stay since she applied for a work permit until she gets a decision from CIC.

Hello, I have applied for my moms work permit last week, however, her 6 months stay with her TRV is coming to an end by Feb 5th. Can she stay in Canada while she is waiting for her work permit? Thanks

Thank you! The thing is ECAS said the letter was sent on June 12th however the oath letter was dated for the 16th. Sometimes ECAS puts an earlier date. You will receive yours and it's going to be the oath letter! Keep us updated Best of luck

My ECAS just got updated. "We sent you a letter on June 12, 2015. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us." I am guessing its the oath letter. fingers crossed

I had my test today! Scored perfect on it. My advice to whoever taking the test, study the book and you should be good to go. Waiting for the oath letter as advices, between 4-8 weeks! Any one from Windsor got their oath letter already??

I have received mine like last month and it did only show the entries to Canada!!!

Exits would not show on your CBSA records! only entries to Canada and the port of entry with dates and gates used would appear on the report!!
