Dont sign it again and dont do a new calculation, just send it back as it is and you would be ok! I have been through this before! When I called and asked the agent on the phone advised me since the application was stamped, it would be ok and I should not sign or re-do the calculation again!

Since your application was stamped in May, you are good to go and your application would be treated under the old rules.

Bonenza, It was June 8th. One week ago!

I had my oath ons the same day with my test! My application took 10 months exactly from the day they recieved my application to the day I took my test and my oath! Good luck Montréalers !!

I did my test and I had my oath on the same day! Finally we are Canadians!!

Just write a letter explaining you situation. Nothing to do with your appliaction and the day it was recieved on.

Thank you Snowbird!! Someone here advised me to write a letter ti CIC explaining the situation. I wrote it and I answered the questions on that letter. I think that also helped. So I really recommend for you to write to CIC!

They did not return my application. I got the citizenship and I had my exam and my oath on the same day.

For the people who will send a new application. Did CIC charge you any money for the 1st app ? Are you going to pay a new fees for the 2nd app ?
