Hi Toby,
I sent my application on August 15th and arrived at immigration Sydney on Aug 16th. They also processed my visa payment on Oct 1st. Two and half months passed, I still haven't received my AOR!
Do you have any suggestions for me?

Try to log in to ECAS. Sometimes the AOR disappears in your spam folder.

Try loggin in with your UCI and other required information. If you get in, you should've already received
the AOR. Don't worry about that, as you don't need the AOR docyment itself for anything. THe only
important thing mentioned on that letter is your appluication number, and you'll also get that number from ECAS.

Pls advise I sent few docs of my husband to update his status to ottawa visa office last friday...how can i check that they hv rcvd and its updated against my application number.

If you've followed those instructions, also sent to you by CIC in the automated response, than your files have been
added to the application. I think CIC only acknowledges receipt of information if they asked for it, or if its required for your
application.

Your UCI number should be on your work permit. It usually doesn't change.

Next, you can apply for BOWP. Also check with CIC for your AOR email so that it will be written proof.
What else do you suggest Toby?

You don't have to do anything else. If you want to apply for BOWP you can go ahead now.
Attach a letter stating that you've received the AOR and you're eligible for the BOWP.
Other than that, you don't need to do anything. Wait for MR and/or other requests from CIC.

I sent my applicarion for Cec on august 11, so far i havent gotten anything yet, i checked my online banking, they have not deducted that $550 fee yet, does anyone here have the same situation with me

You should've gotten AOR already, and the payment should've been taken as well. Try to login to ECAS
and see if that works, if it does - then you're all set. If it doesn't, call CIC.

Email if you've provided CIC with an email on the IMM 0008 form. Can take anywhere between 2-8 months.

2-8 months from the date the application was received by CIC or from the date the AOR was received by us?
