You only need to get copies certified if the original document is not in english or french.

Thanks Toby!!

One more question, if you don't mind.
Im currently on a 1-year contract that is about to expiry. My company is willing to offer me a full-time position but HR people say that it might complicate my application to Permanent Residence (CEC). (Immigration officers might see as a 'bad' thing to have already a full-time contract instead of something just temporary.)They say it might be better to have just a contract. Does anyone knows anything about this?

Thanks!

You're welcome.

I can't see why having a full-time permanent position would complicate your application. Not at all!
I have a permanent position myself and if you ask me, it should look good to the VO as you're already
fully integrated in the Canadian society and work force?!

I can't see any issues with that.

I totally agree with Toby! May be you have to send the updated documents after getting your full time job.

Guys, I am unable to sort the sheet on "application received" column. So some one or who made all the pie charts and stuff help with that. We have to add columns to track statuses for MR and others.

I see it is sorted by "Date received at CIO" already.

Hello guyz,

Just wanted to let U know ..can't we add an extra column to our august 2013 spreadsheet saying status changed to ""in process from application received""?

Thanks! That makes sense to me too! But sometimes immigration does not make any sense at all :)

This column would only be a guess, as we don't receive any notification that the application status was changed.

AOR received last night.

Application reached CIO on 23-Aug and AOR exactly after 62 days :)
Now, time for BOWP.

Wish good luck for everybody.
