Finally the wait is over -- This morning ECAS changed to " 3. Medical results have been received." and around 11.11 pm EST received an email from CPC stating that we are "Ready For Visa - Prêt Pour Visa " and PASSPORT(S) REQUEST .

Same Situation,

Medicals sent on April 06, 2014. After which, no response at all.
No idea what's taking so long as lot of requests where medicals were done after April 06 have received the PPR request already

Did you email CPC and what was their response ?

I am in the same boat as many here. My medical was uploaded in early April and NOT a sinlge work since. CIC have been contacted by my lawyer but no response. It seems to me the process has ground to a halt, has anyone heard of anything as to why this might be? I know there have been several recent controversies with the Temporayr Foreign Worker program could this be causing the delays?

I received an email on Friday. CIC was asking if I did my medical exams and if yes to provide the eMed sheet.
It seems like either they misplaced it or the clinic did not upload it and lied to me

That explains why it takes so long ...

Finally heard something back after 84 days. I received an email asking me to provide the residence history for myself and my spouse for the past 2 years. I replied immediately by attaching a Word document with the timelines and the addresses for both of us.

I'm not sure whether this means that the PPR is coming soon for me, but still it's a relief to hear something from them. Any thoughts my friends in this forum?

Hi,

Since I have received the PR visa and COPR documents for me and my wife and currently I am out of Canada. I am planning to do the landing by this year end. I just need to confirm that in meanwhile can I do the passport renewal. If yes, then Do I need to inform CIC for the same.
