I just have a small doubt about IELTS points...( General training )

I got 7 bands in listening so how many points do I get ? 2 or 4 ?

you will be awardrd 2 points,as up to 7 in listening is considerd Moderate , Starting from 7.5 is high and award 4 points.

According to pre 26th Jun rule 7 band for L = 4 points

New rule 7.5 band in L = 4

L= 7 bands----- Moderate-- 2 Points
R= 6.5 ----- High-- 4Points
W=6.5 ----- High-- 4Points
S=6.5 ----- High-- 4Points

You will get total of 14 Points. Listening is the only module that you have to score 7.5 Band in order to get 4 points , In other 3 modules, you can get the 4 pints by only scoring 6.5 Band

size of the photo is normally known at a photo studio if you mention for Canadian immigration purpose. Anyway the size as stated by VO requirement is as follows

The photos must:
•show a full front view of the person’s head and shoulders showing full face centered in the middle of the photograph;
•have a plain white background;
•be identical (black and white or colour) produced from the same untouched negative, or exposed simultaneously by a split-image or multi-lens camera.
The photos must:
•measure between 25 mm and 30 mm (1” and 1 1/5”) from chin to crown;
•have a 35 mm x 45 mm (1 3/8” x 1 3/4”) finished size.


Another Question arisng is do we need to write our name, DOB and sign behind each photo ?

Yes, in my opinion you can pay your RPRF with your full docs or wait for the visa office to ask for it. If you pay along with full docs then you dont have to worry about not paying fees. And for Pre 26th Jun applicants.....there can not be a 2nd payment for processing fees...that will be an overpayment.

What is on the website now is for the post 26th Jun applicants.

In this case, if you want to pay RPRF Fee, which form should e filled for Fee payment? As the Fee Payment form available on CIO website has a printed value of CAD$550.

Even Pre 26th June Rule, 7 band for L = 2 Points and it is still same after 26th June......so basically

L 7.5 = 4
R 6.5 = 4
W 6.5 = 4
S 6.5 =4

So Naaz will get 14 points....

Finally my docs were received by ND CHC on Aug 12th

I received it through regular mail on friday, my e cas cahnged to received by visa office on tuesday. ND office indicated that if i dont hear from them within 3 months, they asked to contact them.
