What does file transfer from Buffalo to other visa offices imply regarding the fate of the respective applications? Does anyone have any idea?

hi all Buffalo applicants,

Well, we can all speculate on thing and Buffalo is one of them. What I am speculating is lot ( I should say few) of app are moved to satelite offices around in US. I see that some ppl who got AOR from Buffalo on March/April/May 2009 are transffered to satelite offices.

So, what I meant is action started in Buffalo but still in miniscule level. Unlike ND,Manila,SIngapore where you can potentially complete the whole process in 7/8 months.

I have been waiting more then 4 months after my AOR from Buffalo. I am anticipating some action from Buffalo within 1/2 months...am i dreaming?

what you guys think??

Hi Mark thanks for the clarification, Do you know any FSW2 case to be compare with other cases?

You will find all the cases on trackitt (FSW1/FSW2/FSW3). Look for cases that have almost same timelines, in case ya want to compare.

When the visa office internally transfers files to different locations (within the same country), it means that there is a heavy workload in that particular visa office. For example, Buffalo regularly transfers cases to Los Angeles, Detroit and New York offices since it can only handle a certain amount of workload. For the applicant, it could either be good or bad, depending on the workload in that particular visa office where his/her file was transferred.

Thanks Marman.

Guys, I am joining this thread as a new member today as my full application package was received at Buffalo today. So, I guess now the wait starts for the AOR, if the documents are in order.

Hi Garian4u, so you were finally able to send your docs after getting your long awaited FBI...hopefully we'll get our AORs from Buffalo soon, mine was received on jan 18. I hope I'll see an AOR by end of Feb or sooner.

Oh yes Anjay. FBI took just 13.5 weeks to make my case very painful. For this great deed of theirs I am now not expecting an AOR before end of March

That is excellent news, pal. Wish you success in completing the entire process. You are not far from getting your PR now - just a matter of a couple of more months. All the best to you, and keep us posted.

Welcome to this thread, pal. You get the AOR from Buffalo within 4-6 weeks usually.

Hi guys

Question,

I re-sent my complete file to Buffalo in December last year, they received by confirmation from FeDex on Dec-29-2009, so far I haven't received my AOR from them, should I be worried about this?

Any comment is highly appreciated... anxiety is killing me at this point

Thanks
