Thank you my dear perfectskilledmigrant really appreciate your help. I went to Mowasat Hospital today and the fee is still 120KD ( phew).
Will be doing my medicals and then start getting my paperwork together to send off. How long has it been for you ? Have you received any update on your Background Check etc?

How do you get a PCC from Kuwait, specifically when you are currently not residing in Kuwait, but have spent more than 6 months in the country??

any idea of agencies providing similar services and the time taken to complete the process??

Sorry i do not know how to do that from overseas, I got mine while residing in Kuwait.

I got OOPNP in october 2015, sent my online PR application on Nov 15th , last request was on Nov 19 for a PCC from Kuwait, provided my PCC on Dec 3rd, nothing since except BG check went in progress on march 17th 2016 and still waiting since then ....I am nearly at 15 months and they dont even respond to my queries, I already lost my interest in moving to such a disappointing country and will probably begin looking into other options this spring...

You have a family (given your nickname) so it might not take that long for you and pray that your file does not go to ADVO, they left my file untouched for 4 months.

Can your Invitation to apply letter be used to get a police clearance letter from Dajeej?

I tried using that.....still they told me to get the letter from the Canadian embassy. its a pain but it doesn't take more than 5 minutes!

Hello! Been to the Canadian embassy. They are asking for the application form (which has an IMM no can you please explain what this form is?

Did u do your medicals? Is it KWD 120 per head? I also went to Canadian embassy but they refused to give the PCC request untill submission. will go again.

Hey brother, I think I'm in the same boat as you are. I submitted my application and received AOR on the 9th of May 2016 and my Background check hasn't changed from"in progress" for over 7 months now. Have you ever heard of any other similar cases ?
I've requested a CSE but haven't received a reply yet (10 business days). The first time I requested it they told me "Processing times vary". There's a lot of information out there regarding the procedure the application goes through and reading it only makes me more confused.
I'll be trying to contact the Abu Dhabi VO if I don't get a reply from CIC (have you tried that already?) Soon. I'll let you know when I do.

Don't lose hope, brother it's probably a very intensive background check.

I contacted everyone and finally gave up and just gave it time ...asked for GCMS notes several times..... I emailed the minister even ... asked for CBSA ATIP notes (3 months now and have not received them yet) .... but anyhow 10 days ago i got a request to repeat my medicals which means my security check is finally over I think. and once i pass medicals I should be getting PPR ( i hope)....after nearly 15 months (just for security check...other checks took 3 months i guess) .... Anyhow there is nothing you can do but wait.. my last CSE to ADVO got a reply of "we will no longer reply to you" lol ... I have only sent them 2 or 3 CSEs every few motnhs after i crossed 6 months of waiting .... anyhow just order GCMS notes if you havent so that you get a better idea of where your application is ...at which stage .. and just wait and be patient .....
