Mine was received on the same day. Worried if the cap was reached or not. The recent article about the cap being reached for CEC in October has scared me a little. Also the rejection of some people with fully detailed RA/TA letter is pretty bad too..

1. Can ones who have been requested to provide additional documents such as 6-month bank statements and CV share how much time applicants have to wait between PER and doc requests?
2. About how much time would be delayed by the provision of additional documents such as changes of marriage status or employer?
Many thanks for ur replies and estimations....

Usually it take 3/4 weeks from your PER to get the requests for additional documents.
It might delay around 2 months at least since they usually give you two months to provide the additional documents to further process your application.
Hope these helps.

Anyone whose credit card charged these days? My application was received on Dec 3rd, and no charging yet. I am afraid the 500 cap is full and ... :-X

Mine was received on Dec 8th, No CC charged. The last CC charged was for Dec 1st applicants, on Feb 4th. Please update if your CC charged

I got my visa today. I want to do landing at CIC office Ottawa.
I know from you guys that we can do landing on two Tuesdays each month in Ottawa.
I can not find the information in the website and the phone number they send me for making appointments is useless. it just reading me the website.
Can any of you send me the link to find information about Ottawa landing process.

Than you

I called CIC, they told me only people in Ottawa can do landing in Ottawa.
Is that right or they just want to reduce their force load?
anybody has information?

Thank you

Normally you can do landing in the city you live currently. Where do you live Mina?

Hello fellow applicants and friends,

this is just to let you know that today I have received a confirmation email from CPC-O that my medicals are received as response to my email (sent ~10 days back).

I am writing this because this info could be useful to those people who are waiting for 3rd line.

Make sure that you write IME numbers of the family members in the email.

Good luck all.....

mina3000,

Please contact prapplicant13, I think this person was going to do the landing in Ottawa as he/she lives in Ottawa. For fastest landing, can you not go to the nearest port of entry/USA border?

I got my GCMS and there is something wired on it. They gave me 17 points in total! 12 for my age and 5 points for adaptability. It was created in CIO. It also shows that my status is "met".

they accepted my RA letter but there is no info regarding my experience back home.

So, what should I do?

How many points you have in total? If you passed the threshold, there is nothing to worry about. CIO didn't accept my letter from back home either, but CPC Ottawa did accept it :D

CIO is only looking to whether or not the PA passed the mark (67 points). So they start checking all your documents and when they realize you passed the mark they stop checking, charge your CC, issue PER and transfer the file to the VO.

Hope this helps

As I said, the total points mentioned in my GCMS is 17 (12+5). Others are either blank or zero. What do you think Pepe? What should I do?

For instance they mentioned my language score but in front of it, it is blank and at the end, my language score is zero.

My GCMS does not have enough information.
