Hi everybody,

I am new in this forum but I have been following some conversations for a while now. I must admit that it helps a lot!

I applied for my PR on September 11, 2015. Like some of you, I directly got my first AOR and the eligibility review is “in progress” and no more updates since then. I did my upfront medical exam during the last week of August. I am trying to not worry too much ... but I can't wait for them to at least update my medical review. Waiting can be horrible sometimes!

I am also a bit worried about one of my employment letter. My direct supervisor had left the company when I asked for an employment letter. Therefore, HR wrote a letter but was not able to list all of my duties and referred to me my previous manager, who then wrote me a letter but its wasn't on the letterhead of the company. I submitted both letters (supervisor + HR) and added an explanation letter to which I also attached the emails exchange between HR and I in which they say they can't provide me with all the info and asked me to contact my previous manager. I hope that will be satisfying for CIC.

I applied under the CEC, and I am currently in Canada.

Yes, I was thinking that it was maybe too early to tell. I guess I am just eager to know if my employment letter will be ok for CIC or not … if it was not for this, I would be more relaxed today … but only time will tell I guess

Also, the ghost email that you have received is actually the update that was done to your profile when you applied. The email just came later. The same happened to me.

If i am not wrong,u r talking abt ur reference letter from previous employer.basically foreign companies gives employment certificate to everyone in company head letter.If u r referring to the reference letter than its ok to get from senior managers but atleast if you manage to attach their bussiness card which has contact numbers and valid company email address for same person,than there is no problem...

There has been another draw. I wonder how the draws are conducted? Does a draw cause a delay on the application under process? Picture the whole office getting together for the draw

Got ecas access today, one day after Medicaid passed update.

Hi I am trying to access and still nothing. Did you use the File number and Chose Application number from Dropdown or did u use your UCI number?

i think saturday is weekend there. no one anyways works on saturday sunday...

Or does people see update in profile over the weekends too?

I think they are off at weekend but last sunday, my coworker received email from cic. It was passport and picture request. I guess least staff work for express entry in weekend too..... OR... Not? Lol..... haha.. sorry I'm not sure....
