How much time it takes for Background check from "In Progress" to "Complete"? I got last update on July 14, 2015 which was medical passed and Background check in process. No updates after that, not even ECAS? When can i expect to get ECAS updated?

I posted this question earlier as well. Didn't got any reply Can somebody reply??

it depends on each applicant. for someone it took 1 month for someone it took 2-3 months...

I mentioned yesterday in a reply that my medical passed and BG in progress but didn't receive email for that update. And then today I received email notification from CIC that there has been an update to my EE application. Checked it and nothing new so that must refer to the update I discovered myself yesterday. Don't know why CIC can't send out the notification in time.

Yes it's always like this. I encountered multiple times. I even received an "update" email yesterday at a very unlikely time: it should have been 2am in Canadian time... And as usual, no real update when i logged in myCIC...

dear a little patience wont hurt. I even know someone who is way less lucky than you -- got medical passed in May and waited until now his background check still not started..

yes. I'm an inland FSW applicant.

My ECAS status changed to in process today. A 4th line got added. I was asked for CELPIP on this date which I had responded to on the same date.

"We sent you correspondence on July 22, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required."

You might have to wait for 1 more week to get ECAS access. I had to wait that much after my medical passed. But again various people have different timeline. All the best
