I’m CEC inland (only myself)
AOR March 8 2019
MEP April 15 2018
IP2 April 18 2019
Called ircc today got to know that my visa office is Edmonton and my security screening has not started but eligibility is recommended pass and criminality is passed.
Don’t know when I will get my prr email.
So if your application is getting processed in Edmonton visa office then it will take minimum 4.5 months to get ppr?
Nah you're pretty far ahead. You're probably going to get a quick PPR!

AOR Jsn 28th, almost 5 months here, I m on IP 2 since MEP, Edmonton VO here as well. Cheers!
I don’t know what they are up to ... Edmonton visa office is the slowest one among all the processing centres ... until 7-8 month they won’t even touch the file ... really frustrating ...

Aren't they supposed to deal with 80% of the applications within 6 months?

They haven’t started my BG check yet
Wow, that’s sad. My background check has started since April 18, but I got to know that they are at eligibility check for my application and it’s recommended passed, so I guess I have to wait for it to be confirmed passed then they will move to security screening and then I will get my pr but just don’t know when exactly. People who got their pr after 2 - 3 months of waiting are so lucky.

AOR is Jan 28th then your application is not even 4 months yet, like 3.5 months, why would you say that it’s almost 5 months. You should call ircc to ask for more info like your criminality review, eligibility and if your security screening has started yet, according to my calculation I think you should get your ppr around middle of June.
