Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

. Thank u Torque78. Yes, my SOp mentioned about my companions and yes we provided proof of income/bank deposits more than enough to finance our 2yr stay(cost of living,tuition,etc). Docs submitted is only their Birth cert, marriage cert and application forms each. I applied with enhance visa here in Cebu, enrolled with Acsenda School of managemnt in Vancouver. Yes, I am still hoping, in God's perfect time.

Hi sis hopeful..I am also applying student permit via Enhance Visa, also heading to ACSENDA in Vancouver..I just want to ask how long was your overall process? I am about to send all my docs to Enhance tomorrow.. THanks..

Hello po sis! sa CVE ako, nakafile ka na ba ng application mo? Ako kc sa thursday pa daw (july 10) for pick up sa agency ko yung mga docs. Medyo natagalan lng kc dahil tagal ko inantay yung feedback nla sa sop ko. Saang school ka pla and what course? unemployed ako almost 2 yrs na hehe

Hello po sis! sa CVE ako, nakafile ka na ba ng application mo? Ako kc sa thursday pa daw (july 10) for pick up sa agency ko yung mga docs. Medyo natagalan lng kc dahil tagal ko inantay yung feedback nla sa sop ko. Saang school ka pla and what course? unemployed ako almost 2 yrs na hehe

I will be going to ACSENDA in Vancouver.. I sent my documents yesterday.. The agency will double check and then send me back some or ask for more if kulang pa pinadala ko.. I will be going alone.. Maiwan husband ko and our son.. How about you?

Pati consultant ko yun din advice skn maiwan daw muna mga anak ko ang husband ko. Sa niagara college ako pero 1 year lng.. Msydo kc mahal pag 2 years hehe medyo worried lng ako kc wala rn kc ako personal assets pati working experience, no travel history rin. Kelan ka pa graduate? Sinabi ko lng sa sop ko housewife ako sa 2 years na gap ko since i graduated hehe

I graduated last 2012 too! haha..sooo we kinda have the same sitch here..lol.. sayang nga our parents bought us land pero di pa titled.. i have no properties listed under my name too,, married early kase.. u know..myembro ako sa young moms.. i had my son when i was 20.. i did not mention anything about my study gap though..

@canadaeh1234: I remember submitting the form for a TRV but only paying for the student permit... Meron pa kasi akong valid Canadian tourist visa at the time, so I was thinking they'll issue me a new visa na for students... And they did hehe
so TLDR: I did answer the TRV form haha

@hell911: Oh yeah, i forgot to mention that! Oo nga eh, kaskas lang ako nang kaskas ng debit card hahaha problema ko pa minsan wala akong dalang cash lol I'm thinking of applying for a driver's license when I get back, any advice? I already have my non-pro in the Philippines kaso takot ako mag-drive ) so feeling baguhan nanaman ako haha

I'll probably work on it next year Hindi pa nga ako nag-file ng Student Tax Refund, pwede naman daw kasi retroactive haha pagsasabayin ko na lahat next year haha I forgot to ask what program you're in! hehe Nalaman ko nga rin libre pala ang vaccines sa BC! Nagpa-flu shot pa naman din ako bago umalis, nagbayad pa ako ng mahal lol

To everyone already in Canada: have you already tried to get a job with your student permit? If ever, how did it go?
Mine says kasi "Unless authorized, prohibited from engaging in employment in Canada." I know about the new policy and the International Student Centre in our school has already e-mailed us about it, but I'm sure some employers may be dubious...

Need help pls!!! Paano nyo po inupload ang other supporting docs nyo like assets (land title, business docs), sponsorship letter from aunte or parents? Naka upload n po kasi ako ng proof of funds which is more than enough for me and my partner. My partner has a property so we wanted it to be supporting doc and also sponsorship from my aunt and parents. We'll be sending our application online tomorrow as soon as my new passport will arrive. Please help po!
