Hi,

I worked in UAE 4 years ago. And in case of ITA, I will be requiring SHARJAH PCC. And I just checked on google that they mention Profession on PCC. Visa issued to me shows a different profession than the one I worked in. My occupation is different than the one mentioned on my visa.
Will this be a problem?
What can be the solution of this problem?

Guys - I have a question on Skill transferability - Education

I have CLB9 overall in IELTS (Speaking 7.5, writing 7, reading 9, listening 8.5) and have completed bachelors degree 3 years (10 + 2 + 3) Overall work experience is 10+ years

I'm only getting 25 points for education, 50 points for foreign work experience... I thought i should get 50 points for education, not 25....

Can someone explain why its 25 points only ? Am I missing something ?

I've applied myself directly - Based in dubai. No point using consultants - EE looks quite easy (usually :) )

If you need a UAE PCC, you can obtain one from any emirate (you can chk the CIC website on PCC requirement). I obtained it from Dubai and they did not mention profession/occupation on it

Max points one can get under IELTS is 24 (4*6)

Hi Manju,

Thanks a lot for your reply. But there is a confusion, My Visa was from Sharjah so It is must to obtain PCC from Sharjah. Right?
Plus I checked on google Dubai PCC, and profession was written on them.

Thanks.

I did not apply from Dubai but I lived there before so I had to get a Dubai PCC, and yes my profession is mentioned as per my Dubai work visa from then.

Hi

When did you get ur UAE PCC?
Plus the occupation written on your PCC was same as your Immigration selected NOC or it was different?

My Dubai PCC is dated as October 2015.

It is different but I did not claim that as my experience. I went for graduate studies after Dubai and for my current NOC that is crucial.

After my bachelors I have abt 10 years of professional experience but claiming what is only relevant to NOC and current profession which is about 5 years.

Checking in to this post. my husband is the primary applicant. we have been waiting from july 2016 with a score of 422 - no luck yet.

any ideas which provinces are looking for sales managers

Dubai applicant here as well.

hi 422 is a very low score there are many people between 450-470 still awaiting ITA, probably try applying for NS when they open or oinp in November. Also they speculate that chances of getting lower CRS in end of year so have to be patient

Thanks for reply. I am claiming points against my Dubai work experience, since my UAE work experience (which is my immigration noc) is different than the one written on my visa, DO you think it can cause issue ?

is it completely different like Mechanical vs Computer engineer ?

I believe if your HR letter is alright then it should be ok.

try for OINP when they reopen in November, else try to improve IELTS score... IELTS has massive points weightage in EE system.
If you have masters degree also, helps massively.

yes it is completely different. My HR letter is perfect, i mean it has my complete job responsibility, salary, my designation, HR manager name, email and address etc.
