After winning our appeal, London sent our file to Ss. Can take up to 2 years for clearance. Really really upset right now!

How do you know your in a, ss as opposed to regular. I thibk mine is similar situation its been 1 year 2 months since adr won, and went back to office for peocwssibg

My mp called for a status update and they told him my security started on Oct 23 but criminality not started yet

There is a case over at the hkvo, stuck at the RCMP screening for almost 4 months, MP had do a query on it but there no ETA yet. The applicant had been living in Canada and require rcmp screening, I am not sure if your husband also has been in Canada. Some say just the RCMP screening can take up to from 4-6 months. I hope things will move fast for you, I guess it is all patience again.

It was refused Jan 19, 2018 and re-opened Sept 4, 2018.

The standard processing time of 12 months does not apply in this non-routine file.



Sponsor and applicant eligibility has been met.

Security checks were initiated Oct 23, 2018 and are in progress. They cannot be expedited and timelines are not available.

Criminality has not started.

Medicals are valid until Oct 12, 2019.
