Update from us: Schedule A, Generic Application Form and Additional Family Information updated forms requested Nov 19 - we submitted them as instructed the following Monday (Nov 26). CIC Account now shows background check is in progress and they have received the additional documents. [Updated police record checks and medical had already been uploaded.] Nov 19 email request advised they will be looking at the file again in 30 days to make final decision based on the information on hand. Continuing in prayer...

We got documents request letter on Oct 3, submitted abd received Oct 11. security started on Oct 23. Heard nothing since

Again I am sharing my timeline because really I am confused why it’s going too late
Hearing date 27 September 2018 and appeal allowed
Receive Decision letter on 16 October 2018
After this everything quite no response nothing anyone guide me what’s going on or my file in Ottawa or London and why it’s take long

When online said decision made, I emailed to ask what it was. Got a reply in a day or 2.

Hello. He's my current timeline :

application received Jan 10, 2017.

It was refused Jan 19, 2018 and re-opened Sept 4, 2018.

The standard processing time of 12 months does not apply in this non-routine file.



Sponsor and applicant eligibility has been met.

Security checks were initiated Oct 23, 2018 and are in progress. They cannot be expedited and timelines are not available.

Criminality has not started.

Medicals are valid until Oct 12, 2019.

Appealed May 2018 within the 30days rule.
Got blue book July 2018
Sent documents to IAD and MC to support marriage August 2018
Almost three weeks later,
In same month of August, got a call to come for ADR
Sent additional documents to both offices October 2018
ADR in November at Toronto IAD, represented myself, won on the spot
Received letter of decision on ADR November 22nd 2018

Now the wait continues

Now were going through background check. Month and a half after submitting final documents, nothing yet. Patients is key I guess.
