from us they requested re-medical and police clearance after we submitted after 7 weeks they requested his passport through e-mail after submitted the passport he was able to pick it up with in 4 days....good luck hang in there...

Also, my husband is getting a new passport since his current passport is expiring soon. Vo has requested copies of his passport, should we be sending his current passport or copies of both passports?

if they requested only copies then send them only the copies that is what i did with my husband's passport.....good luck

Hi all, need some urgent help.
My case is not refused yet but on the verge of being refused. I am living in US along with the wife. when i filed back in 2013 for the case i was in Canada and wife in Islamabad. i am a canadian citizen and got a good job in US so decided to move during the process and my wife as well moved US on my work dependent visa i.e. TD. However, CIC londong now objecting my and her presence in US eventhough I provided them an employment letter which states that its a temporary position etc etc..and clearly wrote to them that I would be moving to Canada along with wife etc etc...

CIC does not seem to be getting satisfied so far. I am not sure what else I need to do to satisfy them.

Any one gone through such situation please help! I am prepared to hear a rejection news, however trying my level best to turn this around before embarking into another paper work and waiting phase.

Just sent in updated forms, medical and ppc to Ottawa. Does anyone know how long I have to wait to hear from them about passport. Some say it's quicker then regular visa offices. Does anyone know? Thanks

ok. this makes sense. I thought you already won your appeal.

Where will hearing take place. ? Toronto time lines are about 2 years for hearing date and less time in Vancouver.

That was in Toronto filed appeal November 26 2013
Files comeback March 7 but there was an ADR me and two Officers questions me about our relationship for 27 minutes after the discussion the asked me to sign some paper and they we Will talk to your wife it was may 20 2014 ADR still yet we don't know the outcome

i did in july 2013, still waiting already 1 yr n 6 months done

Sorry to be a pain, but let me get this straight...
When we file for an appeal in Toronto (which will be in about another 2 weeks), what in the world is the process like?

a) How long do we wait to hear back from CIC initially after filing for an appeal?
b) When they reply, what in the world will they say? That my appeal application was accepted for processing?
c) If they first reply stating that they will accept the appeal for processing, when will we be given a hearing date?

Again, I'm sorry for not searching through the thread enough, I've scoured it randomly for the last few days but haven't seen any solid info (maybe I skipped over it accidentally.) Thank you so much for any info any of you can provide! I'd just like to know when I'll be able to book my husband another vacation to come see me, after this one in March 2015 (since booking early is cheaper and easier for us.) His job is not flexible whatsoever, so we need these little tidbits of info asap.
