hii.. maryl.. my file is in delhi medical and everything is already done they are doing some security checking as what we came to know from MP office,so pls suggest me, me & my hsuband meeting dis 5th Oct in other counrty, so if i concevied baby is dis effect on my documents for immigrant, bcz someone just suggested to my husband if i get pregnant then they fastest the procedure so is it true dear??? m confused in dis bcz as per my knwldge they will reject my file... so pls suggest me

Two members answer you, cic does not speed up or approve based on being pregnant or giving birth. I know how it feels being desperate for a speedy reunion. But that is not the way. Save your money for travel to Canada and life in Canada.

Again went to the mp. No update since Dm august 10. I too am frustrated with the wait. It's one last step. Get us outta the way to work on somebody else's.

Hopefully soon! I hear September and October are good months for immigration completions. What is your timeline from your original refusal?

Thank you for the encouragement. I hope we all get our spouses in Canada faster. See other ppl get ppr a day later, 5 days later, in May 11 days was the longest. Mp's really don't do a damn thing. All they can or want to do is ask for an update. Really thought my husband would have been here in August.

1. I sponsored my husband and child in oct 2014 my case was dragged ane i had an interview since i do hijab and therefore there were no photos of our marriage.i was called for an interview to determine the bonafide of my relation and to deteemine my intent to move there with my husband.
   My application was refused and the officer clearly told me she was a 100% satisfied with our relation but still we failed to prove our intent to move.
   Now i have filed an appeal and i want to temporarily visit canada with both my children, i had a son 3 months back.
   I want to kickstart my settlement plans and buy a house there while my husband stays back in pakistan.
   Should i apoly for a trv for my children what are the chances that it will be denied ? How am i supposed to go about it ? I want to visit for a month.
   Note that my children are not citizens as im not a naturalized nor a born citizen.

WOW. It's going to almost be 2 months since decision made. They need to fix their flawed system. After waiting so long they should try and speed up after appeal is allowed and make those priority.

I am just at the beginning. I received Blue Book around August 11th or so. Another waiting game begins.

A month of waiting can feel like a year. All I ever heard was sorry the wait is so long. Sept 15 was bring foreward date. Apparently they don't mean anything most of the time. Mp asst told me an agent would look at it by then for final review. After the other MP asst told me count 10 working days from that date.
Maybe next time they will say count to a million while hopping on one foot.
But I see most ppl get the ppr 5 days after dm. "Oh, every case is different!" No kidding.
Stay sane, keep busy. Prepare for your adr or appeal.

Yesterday I sent a fax to the immigration, informing that I am living in Brazil and I am pregnant for 6 months, I am not pregnant to advance my process but because I want to be a mother, I sent in the fax for them a letter from my doctor speaking that I am pregnant and explaining I live in Brazil with my husband, I'm Brazilian and I have Canadian citizenship.
Anything I post here on the site, I'm very anxious.

I'm a bit confused, but I'm assuming you have permanent resident status in Canada (but do not currently live here) since you need either that or to be a citizen in order to sponsor family members. You shouldn't have a problem getting a TRV to bring your children with you if that's the case. In the event that it does get denied unfortunately there is not much you can do. Did your application get denied because you've lived outside of Canada for too long and they didn't have enough evidence of your intent to move?

Hey Mary, how many days has it been since the bring forward date? Maybe send them a web form enquiry? I know web forms normally don't do anything but perhaps they need an extra reminder other than the MP? Hope you'll get it soon.

I have emailed Ottawa, I think it was on Saturday. Another member said to call or fax or email not all three. So I picked email.

I know it's easier said than done but at this point all you can do is be patient. It takes time, make sure you start gathering all the evidence you'll use for your hearing or ADR. It could take a few more months until you hear anything from them.
