i've been waiting 3weeks without desicion after interview anyone in the same situation as i am??

Like gsize said, pls you have to be patient and have positive attitude. My wife and i have been waiting 4 months now after she had interview in November and still no decision yet. Compare 4 months to 3 weeks that you have been waiting so relax and don't stress yourself. Good luck.....

By any means can we contact tht immigration department as ask them or request them for ADR. By submiting proof in advance or something like tht

You can call the Immigration and Refugee Board that is handling your appeal and talk to someone there. They are much easier to talk to than CIC, or the visa office (which is usually impossible). I went through the Vancouver office, and they would answer questions. You can ask for an ADR; you can also send in your evidence early. Asking for an ADR may not get you one, if they feel there are a lot of issues to be resolved, but asking won't hurt. It is not like pestering the visa office, which can delay things.

For me, the letter arrived 8 weeks after interview. Hope it helps ! 8)

they told me.....we were refused. I then filed papers for appeal. (we won) Hip Hip Horray !!!!!!!!!! 8)

you can always appeal if they say no. Dont worry so much ! I know how you feel ! We were in your position 3 years ago. Try to stay positive !!!!!!!!!!!

Did your Ecas status changed to inprocess after your interview or it was still application recieved? Did CHC returned all the relationship evidance you presented back to you after interview?

OUR Ecas status i cant check my aplication because the cite emgration checking have problem i tried to a tcheck doesnt work ..i had intervew no bad i told her if she want prrof more she said no so she looked at some pictures and gave it to me back

Hi canadianwoman I am in Vancouver. You can ask for an ADR and send in your evidence after you receive an acknowledgement letter of the IAD receiving my notice to appeal? If so who do I contact to request an ADR and where and when would I send this evidence prior to? ???

greetings. what was the reason they gave your for refusal. ? You can expect a wait time anywhere from 6 months (ADR) to more than 2 years for full hearing. I won my appeal in Toronto. I had to wait more than 2 years from the time I filed the appeal to hearing date ! On the bright side.....most appeals are allowed. !!!!!

It is very shameful to know that people have to wait so long for a spousal appeal here in Toronto. Please do not be discouraged and be supportive of each other. It is so hard and it sucks every energy out of you. Sometimes I feel so bad for my husband to know that he is such a wonderful person, who worked and pay taxes in this country for over eight years on work permits. A man who is so honest and law abiding. Sometimes I feel like packing it in to go to his country and stay there, but I am a government employee for the past 23 years and I paid a lot into my OMERS Pension, and just do not want to walk away from my children as well. My ties here in this country is a lot. I really want to be with my husband and for us to make the best of our shot time on this earth. I am fifty years old and when you are at that age you just don't want to be lonely anymore. This is really crazy. I am holding on to faith regardless.
