You should just scan them in lower resolution. That can be chosen from the scanner. If the default chosen file format was .bmp, you should use jpg or png instead. 4 MB is quite sufficient for any docs unless you scan in high resolution which is not needed at allqxoil said:
Their website says 40 or 46 days (working) which should be pretty close to accurate since it is the average of 80% of the cases over the course of last year / visa office assessment. The average time of 40 days quoted in the first link has been like this for a few years at least. The second one often changes and hence should be more reliable.MK00004 said:

I am from Pakistan and I want to apply for visit visa to Canada I want to know what are the documents I need to submit along with my application for TRV (my family member in Canada is sponsoring my trip)?
Do I need to buy travel insurance before applying or there is any option that i can buy it once I get visa?

i just heard that IOM panel takes bribe in some cases to clear the reports.
one of my friend got stuck in his medical due to a spot found in his x ray.IOM is asking him to follow tests for TB.he got some reports from other hospitals and the chest specialists there found no evidence of TB in his medical examination.what to do in this situation as time is too short to follow all the test adopted by IOM?
IOM will take three months to confirm TB.

Never heard of any bribes nor would recommend that. But IOM does refer outside consultants for things they do not have expertise / experience with. So i think that if you submit credible reports from probably the best hospital in town (in my case it was Agha khan in Khi) stating their input is wrong with proof and feedback, they might review their reports and redo.usman.ahmad3 said:

IOM suboffice Lahore took the chest x ray. there was an abnormality in the x ray. the doctor asked the client to give samples of sputum for TB tests. these tests will take atleast 3 months but the joining session of the student is September 2014. So he is short of time.fkl said:

No - first any dealing you have is with IOM. CIC won't even respond to any outside communication.usman.ahmad3 said:

The scenario i was referring to was different. CIC's medical head office in India asked for some further evaluation for which IOM didn't have a qualified doctor. So they gave me a sealed envelop addressed to a specialist in Agha khan and i got his feedback submitted to IOM in person (though sealed and i never got to see the actual wording).
The case you are mentioning is different, and unfortunately quite typical. There is no way to avoid that period. They would follow the procedure and simply don't care if classes are delayed. It happens quite often and usually universities do not have too much of a problem. In the worst case, it defers a semester as long as it is confirmed that there is no problem actually

Please assist , I got Canadian temporary residence visa in 2013 with purpose as visit my family based on an invite from them in Sept 2013 while i was single. I got married in Nov.2013 and same month my wife got pregnant , that is when we thought to deliver in Canada and gift our baby the nationality of Canada. I applied my wife visa in May 2014 and we got the visa same month as well. I let my wife travel in June as she arrived in Toronto in transit to Montreal the immigration asked her purpose of travel , she responded as meeting family. They asked my wife for address and phone # which she provided. The immigration called my Aunt and asked the why my wife is traveling to Canada ( i am not sure about exact question) my Aunt responded she is coming here for delivery of the baby ( stupid her ).
The immigration office came back and told my wife that she lied and she is here for delivery offloaded her from the connecting flight. My wife explained that it is not yet decided if she will deliver in Canada or no , her main purpose to travel is to meet family how-ever she may consider options to deliver here or return. This true as i told my wife if she don't adjust she can come back in 3 weeks though her return ticket was booked after the expected delivery date. After making her sit for an hour they let her go telling they will add this to the her file and further investigate . They also asked when i am going to travel to canada.
Myself and my wife work in Dubai and we can afford to pay upto 10,000 CAD for the delivery.
Question:1 What does she meant by adding to file and further investigation?
Question 2 Will i have any issues while i travel to Canada ( possibility at the time of delivery Week 1 Aug.14 ) ?
