folks in ottawa, after how many days of oath, we can apply for passport?

Why not immediately, or the next day?

In passport application you need to provide the citizenship certificate number, and date.

You get both on the oath day.

IMHO suggested two business day are set arbitrary bureaucratic, things can run in parallel (finalizing the citizenship application, starting the passport application).

I am filling up the passport application and bit confused about "Previous Canadian Travel Document" . Does it apply for people who is applying for Canadian passport for first time ?

You don't need a valid PR card to attend your citizenship ceremony. If you don't foresee any upcoming travels outside of Canada before becoming a citizen, you don't need to apply for a new PR card.

My Test was on 4th April, still status is "In Process". Why they yet not change the status to DM? Will they take time to change in ECAS?
