We received our PR through the EE program while living in Quebec. We have strong desire to leave Quebec, but we was somehow stuck here during this period. I tried several times to make the move by renting an apartment in Ottawa but all applications request 3x and above the rental price for 2-3 bedrooms, which we didn't have. I also applied to so many jobs but was not able to secure any offer there.
Now, I recieved a limited term job offer, which would allow me to move to Ottawa, but contract is for less than one year, and based on current rental prices in Ottawa, I will not be able to afford housing there after my term, and I am uncertain about the renewing.
My questions is: if I decide to stay here in MTL, can I still apply for a citizenship? will there be any issue with my application?
