Hi @legalfalcon,
I received my GCMS notes which indicated my eligibility “passed on Aug 6” and security “not started” on page 2.
I have inland dependents. Except for their name and address, my dependents’ information in this notes are withheld and hidden. However, their information is available in a last Notes. Is there a problem with that?

When you submitted the request for GCMS notes, did you submit the consent form for your family members? If not, then their info will be redacted.

By providing a well-documented application and all consents you will have access to more information in response to your request.
See this link for more info

@caipsnotes @legalfalcon
My security is not started yet even my eligibility has passed for 2 months. Only S26 showed on the top of corner no S15, etc. Nobody touch my file to initiate the security check since Aug.
is there any possible reason for this?

@legalfalcon @caipsnotes need your opinion and help on.
I read your posts to know that once your eligibility is passed, your security will be initiated.
My current status is on the page 2
Eligibility: Passed
Security: Not Started
Criminality: Passed
Medical: Passed
Info Sharing: Complete

I can find the Notes1 which label eligibility written by officer’s name code, not an assistant or analyst.

Above updates made by one officer. Could you pls help to confirm whether my eligibility is conclusively passed by an officer. I’d be really thankful if you could help decipher what’s going on with my application as well.

Hi @legalfalcon, can ordering gcms notes delay pr processing? As someone quoted in one of the groups that when IRCC pulls out notes it pushes your file at the end of to be processed files queue. Please suggest. Thanks

This has been answered multiple times and even IRCC has clarified this:

Requesting GCMS notes has no impact on the processing of your immigration application.

Hi @legalfalcon .

It's been more than 90 days since I've ordered for GCMS notes and no reply yet.
Should I be worried if GCMS is taking too much time ?
AOR Aug 2020 - CEC Outland
ReMeds Request and Passed in Mar 2021.
No update since then. Ordered for GCMS Notes in July 2021.

Delays with IRCC are very common. As per IRCC's own report, 49% of GCMS requests were delayed

You can read more on this https://bit.ly/3CCxTy4

Instead, consider requesting your GCMS notes from CBSA.

Hello @legalfalcon and others.
According to my notes, I over paid for RPRF. The officer said the balance will be refunded.

I wanted to ask if this would cause a delay in issuing PPR and also, which one would usually come first - the PPR or the refund? Thank you

Hello all,
From the GCMS notes, what would be the best way to know if security is ongoing or completed?
One of the indicators that show that the security has been initiated is the assessments section on page 2 of the GCMS notes. When the security has been initiated, it is blanked and on the top right corner of the page, will have the section of the Access to Information Act under which the information has been redacted.
