I ordered my first GCMS note on 09-aug and received it on 12-sep. On 21-aug, I saw my profile/application is updated and when I call CIC, they said, the criminality is passed on 21-Aug. After that no update till now. My application date is on May 3 and it will complete 6 months on Nov 3. As I dont see any other update after 21-aug, can I order another GCMS note now or will it further slow down my application process. Please help

Dear legal falcon.
I applied through federal trade stream. Got lmia approved and applied on 23rd nov 2017.
Analyst put review required on 13dec 2017 for the reason of non availability of my business ownership documents(which my agent did submit with the application). I found this out in feb 2018 through 1st gcms notes and resubmitted those documents again on 3rd march with LOE.
Since than there has been no progress at all. My agent is saying to wait at least 1 and half year.
I am really worried as I know quit a few federal trades candidates who are stuck on eligibility review for last 2 years.
Any suggestion or help in this regard will be really appreciated.

Can a friend of mine in canada order GCMS notes for me or I have to do it via any immigration agency ? I applied my application myself?

2. Has anyone faced so much delay from Pakistan like me ? I am into 16th month already?

The 6 months processing time starts from the date when your R10 is passed, and not from the date of your AoR, which is a big misconception.

You are well within the average time frame. If you like, you can request another set of GCMS notes, and there should be some progress.

Your friend, if he is a Pr or citizen can do it. Alternatively you can request them through https://www.getgcms.com

The only way is to request GCMS notes and track your progress. There is no way to speed up the processing. If you have filed all your documents, then there is no need to worry.

Thanks for your response. My status says we are seeing your eligibility . Wat is that supposed to mean it's around 16 months. Eligibility is simple thing isn't it ?

Eligibility is the most important aspect of your application.

Hello, LegalFalcon,
My PR application status changed to IP2 one week ago. And I've been waiting for 37 days since my AOR.
Do you think it's time to request GCMS notes? Or is it too early?
Also, as I understand IP2 means that R10, medicals and criminality are ok and only security left. Am I right?
