There are no issues with your application. Your application is at eligibility and awaiting an officer review. The case processing agent has reviewed and made a recommendation, and as per the recommendation, your eligibility is passed.

After an officer reviews your file, he will make a final determination and the eligibility will be passed and then security will start.

BTW how long does it takes for security, considering I don't have any travelling history..!!

In most normal cases, security is 2-3 months process. However, for some it is very fast and is done within weeks. A few get stuck in security screening, and for them it takes almost a year.

Hi,
I’m at the 6 month mark and just received my second set of GCMS notes. I have passed the Eligibility, Criminality, Medicals and Info Sharing.
Security says ‘Not Started’ and HIRV and Org Crime are blank.

I’m unsure whether this means I’m under security screening or even at 6 months they actually haven’t started the security assessment as yet.
Your thoughts and opinions will be very helpful. Thanks very much!

I have ordered gcms notes on 15 Sept and will receive shortly. Meanwhile I spoke to CIC customer service for update on my file. I was told criminality is passed, eligibility is being reviewed. I read in other forums that criminality triggers only when eligibility is passed. Correct me if I am wrong.

Just received GCMS notes.
on paper file page
location :- Ready for PS and S.15(1) on right side of page

but in Notes,they have not commented anything after 20/04/2018.

kindly guide as to what is PS and S.15(1)
my security is not started yet but BGIP since 20-04-18 in GC Key

After the recommendation on your eligibility, an officer had to make a final determination. This is where most of the delays happen. It will depend on the VO your file is at and how busy the VO is.

All requêtes complet are filed the same day and a confirmation email is sent. Based on what time you sent your consent form, give it some time and you will get a confirmation. If you do not receive a confirmation, send an email to GET GCMS and enquire.

Nope, criminality is passed right along with R10 before eligibility these days.

Unless you are CEC, where the criminality will start after you submit the RCMP report.
