After passport submission, how long does it take to get the Visa!

hi my name is aman... i applied under ainp family stream in sept 2008 and got my file no. on 1 jan after tht they send a letter to my sponsor for ielts results which is submitted on april and then ainp send an inquiry for verification in my office where i m working on 25th july.. after that no news from them..... is here anyone who tell me wts the next step or anyone with the same procedure plz give some advice how much more it take to give me nomination...........

My wife (from Serbia) sent her passport in and the Canadian embassy in Austria received it on May 15. I received an email from the embassy confirming they received it. I'm coming to Serbia June 2 and planning to bring her back with me to canada June 6! I'm assuming she will get her passport back before then...!
