For my wife the eligibility passed 10 months ago and the background check still in progress since April I think. I don't know what to do, but last action I request my MP to do inquiry from IRCC, the reply was "Your family’s applications are in progress" while in the cic application status file received.

The file received status is no big deal. Do not worry. Once they request Medical it will change
