Yeah, I needed medical as I stayed in India for more than 6 months.. Biometrics are based on nationality too (since I hold an Indian passport, not required for me according to the current rules).

Hi guys, just letting you all know that I applied September 26th 2017, and only got my acceptance in mid-February 2018. So the processing times can vary extremely so don't be discouraged if you don't get your visa quickly, since it took me 5 months applying from VFS Dubai. The big problem with the embassy is that they do not communicate well at all so you never know what is happening to you.

Applied on : 11th May
Approved and passport request on :22nd May

Why you send your original pp. They didn't need it before. They can ask if required on the time of approval. Dubai VFS didn't take mine .

Bro I wanna reapply again from AbuDhabi. Can you tell me what did you attached extra and what you exactly explain in your second SOP.

I don't know about Oman.does your applications came in UAE for processing? generally,i think all decisions r made in Ottawa. Than finalised in the located embassies for visa stamping.
